PAYMENT
All goods will remain our property until paid for in full. For maximum customer security, we do not store credit card details on our website or server. Credit/Debit card payments are handled by our payment provider Stripe & Paypal.
Payments are secure, encrypted and compliant with Visa/Mastercard/PCI standards.
Although we have taken great care to ensure our payment partners provide our customers with a first-class service, it is the customer's responsibility to be aware of our payment partners terms and conditions which can be found at their respective web sites.
Customers can also pay by Bank Deposit/Postal Order. Please see our Help page regarding these payment options.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
You have 7 days to return items starting from the day after delivery. Returns can only be accepted in an unused condition with the original packaging intact. Should you need to return something you MUST contact us before returning the item.
Upon return of the item, we will refund you or credit your Strings.ie account to the value of the returned goods excluding shipping costs. Our return address is:

POSTAGE
We aim to ship items 'next working day'. For example; an order placed on a Monday would normally be posted the next day (Tuesday). Any orders placed on Friday, Saturday or Sunday are normally posted on Monday (excluding public holidays). Occasionally your order may take longer to post at busy times and we do not guarantee your order will be posted the next working day. By placing an order you agree that it may take up to 7 working days to post your order. If it should take any longer than 7 working days we will notify you.
Please note that we reserve the right to change our postage charges without notice at any time.
TRACKED POSTAL SERVICE
We offer tracked postal options at our checkout and encourage our customers to use this service. Standard post does not offer tracking or compensation for failed delivery and lost postal items.
DELIVERY TIMES
By ordering from us you agree to a 14 working day delivery window. This means once your order has been posted by us with An Post, the Irish postal service, you agree to allow An Post up to 14 working days to delivery your order. If after 14 working days your order has still not arrived please contact us so we can resolve this for you.
GIFT CERTIFICATES
It is essential that customers record & take care of the certificate code and use it before it expires. Certificates are only redeemable for goods purchased at www.strings.ie and cannot be used at any of our related businesses or in person or over the phone. They can only be used when buying from our website at www.strings.ie.
Due to security reasons, we are unable to provide a replacement for lost certificates. Please take care of the certificate. By purchasing a gift certificate from www.strings.ie you accept the risk that should strings.ie cease trading no refund will be available. Certificates are only valid while strings.ie is trading.
